He studied at the University of Glasgow for a M.A. (Hons) in Humanities. Mark was a lecturer for five years, teaching Acting/Performance at Dumfries & Galloway College. He also worked for three Years with the Scottish Youth Theatre. More recently he spent five years as Head of Creative Learning at Hull Truck Theatre Company and has now branched out on his own running Single Story Theatre Company.
