Plot Summary
A Hollywood Fairytale follows the story of the enigmatic S, a young film actress, and her relationship with an ageing diva, Donatella Lloyd-Fox. Set in a land of celebrities, therapists, botox and paparazzi, A Hollywood Fairytale recreates the age-old tale of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

This piece of theatre has been created by Aberdour Players Youth Theatre through weekly sessions involving improvisation and discussion. The group were keen to create a piece of original theatre and, from an idea born in January 2007, they have worked together to create just that.

Clinton But before we get into that, here is a clip from the 1996 Oscars, where the best actress award was won by the infamous Donatella Lloyd-Fox. Let’s take a look at that clip now.

Now, although Donatella was in her prime when that clip was taken, it is rumoured that she may be losing her touch as she has not been nominated for any awards since then or appeared in any films over the last year, and the few before that never got any good reviews. Isn’t that right, Brittney?
Brittney Yes that’s right, Clinton.
Clinton However it has just been announced this week that Donatella has been nominated for this year’s Oscars. It is said to be a two-horse race between Donatella and a newcomer to Hollywood…S.
Brittney S has appeared from nowhere but has made quite an impression with her role in the film, ’Once Upon A Time’, her first of many, I am sure, Clinton.
Clinton I agree, Brittney. And another story this week, Chad Michael Charming has split from his long term girlfriend. He is said to be so devastated that he has stopped working. He says that their eight days together was the best time of his life and he thought that she was the one. But they just weren’t meant to be.
Brittney I’m sure there’s some lucky lady out there for him. Did you watch the final of Z-Factor last night?
Clinton No, who won, Brittney?
