New Scripts
Cinderella
by Dave Buchanan
Category: Pantomime Scripts
Dave Buchanan's update of his much-performed version of the classic tale. And there is much to enjoy: a vintage car scene, knockabout comedy with the Handymen, and a colourful scene set in the South Seas, which occurs when Fairy Foozle loses her bearings. Cinderella gets to dress up as Lady Gaga, while the Sisters do a rap and dance in a special edition of Strictly Come Dancing. Plus, there are new parody lyrics for Richard Rodgers's "My Favourite Things" and Cole Porter's "Let's Fall In Love".

A Christmas play with a cast of thousands, (seventy nine, to be precise) and aimed specifically at children aged 8-11 (Primaries four to seven). Funny lines, colourful characters, songs and sketches, and lots of parts. "Our P4-7s performed this Panto at Christmas and it was a runaway success! The children really shone in their roles. The 'pythonesque' humour made it a fun night for the adult audience. Highly recommend it." Kate Whiteley, Head Teacher, Aberdour Primary School
